Nicole Rockafellow

Hello, I’m Nicole Rockafellow. My husband, Danny, and I a son, Daniel, who is at Kaleo. My husband is a child evangelist and a piano tuner/technician. We have our own piano business buying & selling pianos, restoring pianos, tuning pianos, anything to do with pianos, we do it. I really enjoy doing the technician work on pianos.

I worked as a secretary for a piano store for over 5 years. I worked at a Baptist Church for over 10 years as the children’s director for 4yr old – 6th grade. When our son, Daniel, was in Southside ISD. I was an elementary substitute teacher for 7 years with special needs, Pre-K, Kinder, Library, PE, Office.  If I wasn’t working on Children Director stuff (Which was ALL the time), subbing, or working with my husband with our piano business, I was volunteering at Daniel’s school in the office, library, helping teacher, PTO. I love helping anywhere I can. I have a servant’s heart. I also love admin and office work and I LOVE anything white chocolate.

I started homeschooling Daniel when he started 5th grade.  We came to know Kaleo when my husband tuned a piano teacher’s piano. She told him about Kaleo and we enrolled our son as a sophomore in high school. We have been in love with Kaleo and the people ever since we were so blessed to be a part of this awesome homeschool community.

At Kaleo I have helped with recess, subbing, copies, anything they needed help with. I was also an assistant with the Robotics class on Wednesdays. I love being able to interact with all the students. Also run check in/out table, lunch & snacks, recess, some admin, etc. I am so excited to come back to Kaleo and see everyone and to be a part of something great. I can’t wait to see what Jesus has for us this year!!
