How It Works | Kaleo Academy

How it works:

We are a drop off program.
Core Days are 9:30-3:30.
Students are provided assignments to complete during the rest of the week.
Grades and/or progress reports are provided every 9 weeks.
STEM days provide additional class options.

Our Teachers

Our teachers are not all state certified, but we do have qualifications. They must adhere to at least one of the following.

A degree in education
A degree in the subject matter they are teaching
At least 3 years of experience in their field and /or teaching in a classroom

Elementary School

This group will learn history integrated with language arts, art, theater and music. They will have a fun class day, and our teachers will send home work for the rest of the week.

PreK-2nd graders - will use living books as their source books.

3rd-5th graders - will use Biblio Plan as their spine.

This day is from 9:30 - 3:30 and includes three thirty-minute recesses and 30 minutes for lunch for PreK-3rd and one thirty-minute recess and a 30 minute lunch for 4th-5th grades.

Middle/High School

Core Day for the upper grades focuses on language arts, history, apologetics, art,

theater and music!
Using a variety of curriculum with a Charlotte Mason approach, we will sharpen our academics while deepening our understanding of our faith.

While our high school students will also be studying the a specific time period, they will be delving into the why more than the how. They will be looking at the Worldviews of the time and how they have shaped the world. Each student will develop their own Worldview based on apologetics and bible study and learn how to defend what they believe.
