Natasha Slusher

Howdy, friends! My name is Natasha Slusher, and I am the robotics teacher at Kaleo. I am so excited to be able to serve in this capacity, as Kaleo has been a wonderful partner in my homeschooling journey since 2023. Prior to being at home full time with my children, I was a nuclear electrician’s mate in the United States Navy. 

My goal as the robotics teacher is to make critical thinking fun! My hope is that all of my students will enjoy their time in class while gaining the important skills of problem solving and teamwork. My favorite part about robotics is not the building or the programming, but engaging in age-appropriate conversations about fundamental engineering concepts with the kids. Through these conversations, they are then able to take what they have learned and apply it to their projects for further testing. If your child has not learned something in my class that day, I didn’t do my job correctly! 

I truly cannot wait to see all that the Lord has in store for us in robotics this year. I look forward to meeting each and every one of you and your children in the very near future.
