Lauren O'Shields

Lauren O’Shields is originally from Savannah, Georgia but has most recently lived out west thanks to her husband’s exciting career in the Air Force. She is happily married to her best friend, Shane. Together, they have 3 amazing boys: Charlie, Finn, and Tucker. They are now excited to call La Vernia, Texas home!

Earning her undergraduate degree from Georgia Southern University, Lauren started out working in the hospitality industry, managing 2 hotels before ultimately deciding that her heart was in education. She went back to school to earn her Master's degree in Elementary Education. 

Lauren also has experience serving in leadership positions in both children’s and ladies ministries. She loves sharing the good news of the Gospel with children and encouraging new moms with the love of Christ. 

In her free time, Lauren loves to garden, take care of her chickens and goats, and play baseball with her boys.  

Lauren is excited to encourage other families in their homeschool journey and to be a part of the Kaleo family.
