Beau Johnson

Hello, My Name is Robert Johnson. I spent 21 years as a New Braunfels Fire fighter. During that time, I operated as a Paramedic, HAZMAT Technician, EMS and Fire Instructor, Driver/Operator, and Step Up Lieutenant. In 2016 my family and I started a community robotics club to supplement STEM learning in the Homeschool community. We called our club The Robo Legends. I quickly learned the value that teaching STEM can impart of future problem solvers. Our club qualified for the VEX world championship each year, but far more importantly, I witnessed the kids in our program face adversity and learn to overcome it with grace and humility. My goal in teaching is to help kids become better problem solvers.
