Littles to Bigs

PreK - 6th grade is a huge gap and so much growing happens during these formative years! We want to walk alongside your family and help you navigate this growth.

We teach with the end in mind. That sweet little five year old will some day be walking across a stage and receiving their diploma. What kind of person do you want to send off into the world?

We want to partner with you and other like-minded families to help our students grow from sweet little concrete thinkers to mature reasoning thinkers.  We will walk with you from ABC's to bigger questions like "Is God real?" and "Can I trust God?".

We understand that your child cannot have a faith of their own if they do not wrestle with what they believe. We want to give them a safe environment to express those doubts and help them find answers and grow into teens that

PreK - 6th Grade Core Day - (Schertz on Tuesday and Adkins on Thursday) Using living books as our source books, this group will learn history integrated with language arts, art, theater and music. They will have a fun class day and our teachers will send home work for the rest of the week.  Our PreK-2nd graders will use living books as their source books and our 3rd-6th graders will use Biblio Plan as their spine.

This day is from 9:30 - 3:30 and includes 3 thirty minute recesses and 30 minutes for lunch.

We are very active and hands on in our classes. Your kids will think their day of learning flew by!

*We do not teach your student to read. You will need your own phonics program. We are happy to help you select the right fit!

1st-6th STEM Day (Adkins on Wednesday only)  - This will be a three hour class that will include:

  • Science - For our 1st-2nd graders, we will use Apologia's Zoology 1. We will learn about God's amazing flying animals! For our 3rd - 6th graders, we will use Apologia's Elementary Human Anatomy as we learn about our amazing bodies that God created!

  • Technology - This will be a piece we send home for you to do with your student. In today's world, we want to make sure our students are tech savvy, but also safe!

  • Engineering - This will be a fun experiment we do in class - We might build bridges with Legos or Roman aqueducts out of tin foil, but whatever we do it will be fun and engage our minds and our creativity!

  • Math - Your student will learn math concepts and ideas in class with games and engaging activities. Then they will do math practice at home with you. We will be using Horizons as our textbook, but don't let that scare you. We don't believe in busy work and we will only do the work required to master the concept!

Drama Club 1st-6th

This is a full theater production class. We will work on a play all year and perform April 7-9! They will get to experience the entire process of theatrical production from beginning to end, while being reminded that all gifts come from a loving God and they are freely given so we should freely share!

Piano Lessons

We offer piano lessons through For His Glory studios. These will be offered on Wednesday in Adkins and will be scheduled around the students classes.  For more information and for prices, please click below.
